Sigen Energy Gateway: whole-home backup and smart loads
Most people don't know this part exists. It is what separates a battery from a controlled home.

Nothing in the house notices the grid has gone. 12kW and 22kW single-phase, 30kW three-phase.

Hot water, pool and aircon come under its control
Run them on surplus solar, on a schedule, or shed them automatically to preserve battery.

A system this capable is only as good as the install
Loose cable runs, gear cooking in the afternoon sun, commissioning half-finished so the smart features never got set up. We have seen all of it. Ours are not like that.
EV charging

Two ways to charge the car. Ask about package pricing when a charger goes in with a new system.

AC charger: 7, 11 or 22kW
Type 2, IP65, wall mounted. Three modes: surplus solar only, solar boost, or fast off grid and solar together.

DC module: 12.5 or 25kW, and it runs both ways
Slots into the stack at the DC bus, so solar goes straight to the car. V2H backs up your house, V2G exports.

V2X depends on your car
Check your model against Sigenergy's tested list. Some manufacturers treat bidirectional use differently under warranty. We'll confirm before you commit.

Plenty of SigenStors are running like a basic battery — the installer never set up the smart features, or the company has folded and stopped answering the phone.
We can add what is missing: an EV charger, AC or the bidirectional DC module into your existing stack; a Gateway for whole-home backup and load control; or a commissioning review to get the scheduling and priorities working. We'll tell you honestly what is worth adding.

We had a charger installed, an Evnex E2 Core for the Atto 2. Superb job, nicely done, even arranged for a plaster hiccup to be fixed same day. Also installed a surge protector in the fuse box to protect all appliances. Both times on time, efficient, good value and great guys, highly recommend.
