The ESA arrives as one pre-wired cabinet — inverter, battery, switchgear and the smart controls all inside it. Backup
Whole-home battery backup, built in
This is the ESA's best trick, and it is the reason we recommend it as often as we do.

The switching gear is already in the box
It is built into the cabinet rather than added alongside it. The circuits you want covered still have to be wired to it, and that is part of what we quote — but the hardware is already there.

The whole house, not one circuit
With a 10kW inverter the ESA is powerful enough for full home backup: fridge, lights, internet, power points, the lot.

You won't notice the changeover
When the grid drops out the system takes over near instantly. Nothing flickers, nothing reboots.
Backup capability depends on the model and on what your home actually draws. We size it against your switchboard and tell you honestly what will and won't run.

Already have solar or a GoodWe system? We'll add the charger
Plenty of people have solar or a GoodWe system in good working order, and no working relationship with whoever installed it. Company folded, moved on, stopped answering the phone.
You don't need to start again. A GoodWe EV charger reads what your home is generating and using, so it charges the car off your surplus solar — whatever brand of inverter is on the wall. If it is a GoodWe system, everything lands in the one app. We'll assess what you've got and tell you honestly whether it is worth adding to.
